Description Alexandre Bonneau 2021-10-05 06:04:34 UTC
Today you can create an event by selecting a zone in the agenda view.
However it does not work well if you already have events/tasks already in place when you want to create the event/task, since clicking on them then dragging will just move them.

It would be great to be able to create an event/task at a specific place in the agenda view using the mouse selection (so the starting time would be already set), even if there was events/tasks there.

One way could be to use a modifier key when selecting the agenda view zone (for instance `Shift`) ; that would instruct Korganizer to let the user select a zone and pass through the other events at that specific timeframe.

Bonus effect; when selecting a zone that way, make all the tasks/events in the agenda view 40% opacity, then back to 100% opacity when losing the focus/unpress the mouse.
