Description Heart Lee 2021-10-02 07:59:54 UTC
SUMMARY
When sending large files (files larger than 1GB) to windows desktop via Android client, it often appears that Android terminal shows that the sending is completed, but windows desktop terminal does not receive the files. To be precise, the files still exist during the sending process, but after Android terminal completes the sending process, the files will be automatically deleted on windows desktop terminal (see with my own eyes).
The version of KDE under windows desktop is 21.08.1-730, and the obtained source is the following website:https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/kdeconnect-kde_Release_win64/
The version of KDE under Android is 1.17.0, which is obtained from Google App Store.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Under the sharing option of X-plore file browser on Android, select KDE Connect and click the user name on windows desktop.
2. Sending progress bars appear on Android and windows desktop, and the progress can be displayed normally.During sending, a temporary file will be generated in the receiving folder on the Windows desktop.
3. After the sending progress bar on Android shows that the sending is completed, a notification of successful sending will pop up, and the receiving file on windows desktop will deleted at this time.

OBSERVED RESULT
After Android sends files to windows desktop, files will be automatically deleted (especially video files).

EXPECTED RESULT
I hope this problem can be fixed, and Android can normally send files to windows desktop.

I'm also experiencing this on Linux. Any file I send to desktop that is larger than 2GB gets deleted right after it was received.
Not sure if this is important, but I'm using Xfce desktop and not Plasma.

OS: Arch Linux
KDE Connect desktop: 22.08.2
KDE Connect Android: 1.19.1
