Where does your music collection live exactly?
Comment 2 christopaul416 2021-10-05 03:39:57 UTC
In the default music directory.
/Home/user/music

My manjaro system is btrfs and disk is encrypted. The slow indexer does find my files. But, once I switch back to the default fast indexer. They just disappear:(

Is the Baloo file indexer running in the first place? Does it find your music files with `baloosearch [thing]` or using KRunner?
Comment 5 christopaul416 2021-10-06 04:16:49 UTC
idk what baloo is..But,yes. krunner is able to find my files

Can confirm I am also facing this issue in 2023.
Comment 9 Christoph Cullmann 2023-11-17 15:33:50 UTC
Fixed by removing the 'fast' indexer.
