I created partitions during Debian's Installion. I used the Ncurses styled version. It gave me the option to name Partition and File Systems labels. This is handy when dealing with multiple partitions. These are the differences between K-Partition and GParted: 1) Gparted: Both options to Set File System Label and Set Partition Name 2) K-Partition: Only option is to Set File System Label K-Partition alse needs to add "File System Label" on their menu and not just "Label" to differentiate on what it refers with "label"
Yes, this is known. There is some support for setting partition labels in KPMcore library but it needs to be exposed in the KDE Partition Manager GUI.

Bump. Need this in kde partition manager. Have to use gparted because of kde partition manager lacking this basic feature.
