Description Martin Koller 2021-09-30 05:33:12 UTC
I select an item in the tree (some password entry) and see on the right side in the text editor the content (e.g. the password).
I now click into the password field (just a click to see the cursor there).

With any action which changes the current window, e.g. use Alt-F2 to bring up krunner, or I use Alt-Tab to bring a different window to the foreground, or I select a different application from the task bar, etc.
So basically anything which makes kwalltemanager lose the keyboard focus.
=> This leads to the current password field seemingly being "changed": The "Undo" button at the bottom suddenly becomes enabled.
of course when I try to close kwalletmanager it ask "keep changed ...?" - but I did not change anything.

This is a regression to some previous version since it only happens since the last update. (since I'm on openSuse Tumbleweed, a rolling release, I can not say exactly which version was the previous, but it's not far off)

Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20210927
KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.86.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2
Kernel Version: 5.14.6-1-default (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i5-6300U CPU @ 2.40GHz
Memory: 15,5 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® HD Graphics 520

This happens to me with Wallet Manager 21.12.3 (under Kubuntu 22.04.2), and it's super intrusive. :(
