SUMMARY When using the Wayland session, the laptop goes to sleep if the lid is closed even when an external monitor is plugged-in. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Start a Wayland session 2. Go to system settings -> Power management -> Energy saving and make sure "Even when an external monitor is is connected" is unchecked 3. Plug in an external monitor 4. Close the lid, the computer goes to sleep OBSERVED RESULT The computer goes to sleep when the lid is closed with an external monitor plugged in. EXPECTED RESULT The laptop should not go to sleep unless the option is explicitly selected.
