SUMMARY Creative SB X-Fi Fatal1ty Sound Card PCI is not setup correctly. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Boot 18.04.5 oder 21.04 from stick. 2. Go to Systemsettings Audio OBSERVED RESULT In the Hardware Audio tab is no option to configure the Audio output for the Creative SB X-Fi Fatal1ty Sound Card. One has to spereately start Pulse Audio program to configure the hardware output to analog 5.1. In addition one has to start Alsamixer to unmute the center channel. EXPECTED RESULT The Audio setup pannel should automatically offer the available configuration options for the output and the input sources. In addition to that all channels of the selected output source should be unmuted and the mute setting should be selectable besides the respective volume of the channel. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: 18.04.5 and 21.04

Goto Audio Hardware and tehere is no way to konfiguere it correctly: Emacs! 3.One has to start sperately PulseAudio Volume Control: Emacs! 4. Only there one can do part of the *real* configuration of the output that should be in the system settings: Emacs! And suddenly the System Settings dialog shows the necessary options: Emacs! 5. But that is still not complete! One has to also start Alsamixer to unmute the mutet channels: Emacs! Result: All of the above must be selectable from the settings dialog by default!
