Description Bharadwaj Raju 2021-09-23 05:35:08 UTC
SUMMARY
If I leave my desktop unattended for some time, the screen turns off and when I come back, the mouse cursor is no longer visible. It becomes visible again if I open a new window (eg Firefox) and place my cursor into that new window.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use the Plasma Wayland session
2. Minimize all windows (I don't know if this is really necessary to reproduce)
3. Leave the screen unattended so it turns off from inactivity (manually turning it off doesn't reproduce the issue)

OBSERVED RESULT
Cursor disappears.

EXPECTED RESULT
Cursor does not disappear.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Distro: Neon Unstable
KDE Plasma Version: 5.23 git master
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.86.0
Qt Version: 5.15.3

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Screen locking is not enabled.
