STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open the following PDF file: https://brightlight.today/fileserver/downloads/20c9eb1297105d3217083707b3bd517f
2. Print to PDF choosing "Fit to printable area" or "Fit to Page"
3. Open the resulting PDF

OBSERVED RESULT

Large margins are present on the resulting PDF.

EXPECTED RESULT

Minimal margins are present on the resulting PDF.

I can confirm this on Debian/unstable with okular 21.08.1

Did you remember to check the "Force Rasterization"? checkbox If not, does checking that option fix the issue?

Thanks Nate, I can confirm here that by selecting "Force rasterizing" the correct page is produced.
