When Windows accent color is blue

SUMMARY
The icon for Kate in the Windows taskbar has a square boundary of the accent color the user has defined in Windows. No other app I have installed has this.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install Kate from MS Store
2. Open Kate, when the Windows taskbar is set to icon-only mode (as it is by default)
3. The Kate icon is weird, and it has a square boundary of whatever accent color you have set in Windows (Personalization->Colors->Choose your accent color)

OBSERVED RESULT

EXPECTED RESULT
The Kate icon should be like all the other icons of all apps, without the boundary.

Same problem here with Windows 11.
The same problem also exists for Okular.
