SUMMARY If I plug in an external USB storage unit, mount it with the system tray pop-up from KDE, then unmount it from the system tray icon, unplug it, and plug it again, it will no longer prompt me to do something with it. The unit is still identifyiable through "fdisk -l" and can be manually mounted and unmounted with "mount" and "umount". STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Connect an external USB storage media to the computer. 2. In the pop-up from the system tray, choose the option to mount and open it with Dolphin. 3. Close the Dolphin window. 4. Right-click the system tray icon for removable devices, and remove this device. 5. Unplug the device from the computer. 6. Plug the device again. OBSERVED RESULT Nothing shows up to offer me to do something with the external device. EXPECTED RESULT Should again show the pop-up that offers me to mount it.
