Description Patrick Silva 2021-09-19 23:53:47 UTC
SUMMARY
I have a folder containing 2045 jpg files, each time I open a file from this folder, Gwenview displays a rondom total of files on bottom, like
1 of 108, 1 of 400, 1 of 601, etc.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. have a folder containing thousands of images
2. open an image from your folder with Gwenview via Dolphin
3. observe "x of y" on bottom
4. close Gwenview
5. repeat the steps 2-4 a few times

OBSERVED RESULT
random y

EXPECTED RESULT
y should always be the total of files of your folder

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition
KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.80
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.86.0
Qt Version: 5.15.3

Gwenview displays correct total of files when I go to next image.

Now it's harder to reproduce, but the bug persists.
