SUMMARY
Bug 433362 Thanks for the solution. But now there is a problem; Applications launched with a shortcut are displayed on the Plasma System Monitor not as an application name, but by the application's running path. This is not a desirable situation.


OBSERVED RESULT
Applications launched with a shortcut are displayed in Plasma System Monitor with the application's running path, not as the application name.

EXPECTED RESULT
The names of the applications launched with the shortcut should appear in the Plasma System Monitor.

Are you specifying the full path to the executable in the shortcut settings? do these apps have .desktop files?

Hello,

I think this problem seems to have disappeared with the last updated KDE.

A small note: Elisa does not appear at all in Plasma System Monitor.

Latest status

Elise Player does not appear in the Applications list.
It is indicated by the spectacle run path (/usr/bin/spectacle).
