Created attachment 141634 [details] Screen Shot of desktop SUMMARY I have just updated neon testing to try out the new kde anniversary edition and it has broken badly. There are no windows decorations, no way to interact with the widows controls (as in I can't move/close/resize any window). Rebooted several times and no change. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Install latest packages from Testing 2. 3. OBSERVED RESULT Attached screen shot EXPECTED RESULT Windows that work SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: Neon Testing (available in About System) I don't know any of these, infocentre won't run. Its the latest code from Testing KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This means that the KWin window managewr crashed and didn't automatically restart, or crashed five times in a row and therefore stopped trying to automatically restart. Can you please get a backtrace of the crash? the `coredumpctl` utility may be helpful.
