Description Braden 2021-09-16 18:06:48 UTC
SUMMARY
When I have the brush tool selected, and I am using shortcut keys + mouse to pan/zoom/rotate the canvas in quick succession, it will occasionally start painting on the canvas even though I'm still holding down the shortcut keys.

This causes me to paint a line when I intend to pan (or zoom or rotate).

This only happens when using my tablet (Huion Kamvas 13), I cannot reproduce it with my mouse, so I understand that if it's a tablet issue it may not be Krita's fault. However I use multiple drawing programs, and this only happens in Krita, so I thought you guys might like to know about it. I made you a video to illustrate what I mean.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use my tablet,a Huion Kamvas 13 (maybe)
2. Open a new canvas
3. Select the brush tool and a brush preset that visibly paints.
4. Use space, space+ctrl, and space+shift (by default) in quick succession in combination with clicking and dragging your mouse on the canvas to pan, zoom, and rotate the view like a mad man. Never let go of spacebar so you can be sure you should always be in a view manipulation mode.

OBSERVED RESULT

Eventually you will put down some paint.

EXPECTED RESULT

I;d expect that if you're holding down one of these view manipulation shortcuts, you should never be able to paint. Especially not in an inconsistent way like this.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: Windows 10 Home 10.0.19042 Build 10942

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Painting when you don't expect to is jarring, and because I don't catch it every time, when I take a close look I often find lines drawn across my paintings that I have to go back and paint over. This seemingly minor problem happens frequently enough that it really deranges my experience painting in Krita. Sadly, because I love the program. Other than this issue, it's my favorite drawing program, paid or free. Thank you guys.
