SUMMARY Whe in fullscreenmode, either through the menu or after pressing CTRL+SFT+F, the video images are not displayed on the monitors anymore. The sound plays normally and the color scopes act as if the image was there. Also, when clicking on a menu, the "button" reacts (looks pressed) but the menu doesn't appear). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Activate either monitors by playing a clip from the bin or on the timeline 2. Press CRTL+SFT+F 3. OBSERVED RESULT Monitors' displays go grey Menus can't be accessed (don't appear) Display does go fullscreen. EXPECTED RESULT Fullscreen display SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 10 Kdenlive standalone 21.08.1 (no pre-existing mlt, etc.) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This problem occurs on my Dell Inspiron desktop, Core i3 2120 CPU, 8 Gb RAM, Windows 10 ver. 20H2 Bu on my laptop, it works as expected. (Ryzen 5, 16 Gb RAM, Windows 10)
Thank you for reporting. I tested with an HP i3 Win10 notebook: CTRL+SHIFT+F to fullscreen and the video is showing in project monitor while playing. What type of graphic card do you have on your Dell notebook?
The PC is a Dell Inspiron 620 (desktop) The graphic card is an AMD Radeo HD 6450 Drivers are up-to-date (ver. 15.201.1151.1008 )
