Description Seïfane Idouchach 2021-09-14 16:28:56 UTC
In a 3 screen setup (all same resolution 1080p) when the middle screen gets disconnected the panel disapears. Background for one of the screen also goes black.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Unplug a screen
2. Panel & background disapears.

OBSERVED RESULT
Panel & background disapears.

EXPECTED RESULT
Panel & background should be replaced on the still connected screens.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Linux 5.13.8-arch1-2-vfio (64bits)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.85.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Reconnecting the screen sometimes restores the panel & background.

Running kquitapp5 plasmashell && kstart5 plasmashell always solves the issue (panel & background comes back). Running these commands while the 3rd screen is not connected seems to fix the issue for the rest of the session (until reboot).
