Thunderbird (and many other Gnome apps) query the `org.gnome.desktop.interface` dictionary to get locale info. Latest Thunderbird installed in default Plasma results in display of 24h times rather than the system default 12h setting. See report of issue in TBird bugzilla: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1726464 STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Fresh Plasma (5.22.5) 2. Install Thunderbird from Mozilla download 3. See 24h times 4. Manipulate LC_LOCALE and system settings/ time and date settings 5. Still see 24h times OBSERVED RESULT org.gnome.desktop.interface clock-format is '24h' EXPECTED RESULT Shouldn't KDE set org.gnome.desktop.interface clock-format=12h to reflect system locale and KDE time format preferences? SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux: 5.13.0 KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.85.0 Qt Version: 5.13.3
Can confirm. Perhaps we should sync this in kde-gtk-config.
