Description vi.kurtz 2021-09-12 02:16:27 UTC
SUMMARY
On occasion when using same track transitions, the video will fade from clip A to clip B, but the audio will fade from clip B to clip A instead.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create long timeline with multiple same-track transitions
2. Play back transitions later in the timeline

OBSERVED RESULT
Video fades from clip A to clip B, audio fades from clip B to clip A.

EXPECTED RESULT
Video and audio both fade from clip A to clip B.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: 5.14.2
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.85.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Timelines I work with will use multiple same-track transitions, some with a particular effect (usually linear_x), some without. It appears to start happening not with the first transition but with later ones. If needed, I can attach an affected project file.

Please test with the latest Kdenlive version 24.12 to see if that still happen. Best is to use the AppImage: https://kdenlive.org/en/download/
