Description tagogaj 2021-09-11 21:37:52 UTC
SUMMARY

No matter what MIME type of video I attempt to play in Dragon, no video is ever played. The videos play perfectly fine in other video players (VLC, mplayer) on the same system.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Run `dragon ….mkv`, or `dragon ….mp4`, etc.
2. Click play button.

OBSERVED RESULT

No video is played.

The widget supposed to play the video stays in the usual background colour. The slider indicating position in the video, volume button and full-screen button remain deactivated. The status bar shows the file name of the video without ending.

EXPECTED RESULT

Video plays.

Are you using Dragon with the GStreamer Phonon backend or the VLC Phonon backend?
