Description Nate Graham 2021-09-10 16:08:14 UTC
When I open a link in Element, it opens the link in Firefox (my default browser) but the Firefox window doesn't get brought forward automatically.

Yeah yeah yeah, needs activation support in Firefox...

Could you briefly explain what this means and if i can do something to enable it?
I am also a bit annoyed by the fact, that i always have to manually click on the Firefox icon in the taskbar (even though it's running).

It means changes in firefox.
Comment 4 Nate Graham 2022-04-12 19:34:40 UTC
Specifically, Firefox needs to implement the Wayland activation protocol.

Ahh okay thanks for the clarification.
I tried to find an upstream issue, but this was the closest that I found :https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1291807
Maybe someone can show me a issue that fits better, otherwise I could open a new one.
