SUMMARY
All shortcuts with ALT are sort of minefield with menu acceleration enabled. I disabled this behavior systemwide, but this has no effect on Krita. It would be great to have the checkbox in options to disable menu acceleration. Thanks!

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Make alt+space or alt+f shortcut for example
2. Press

OBSERVED RESULT
Main menu is triggered instead of assigned action

EXPECTED RESULT
Assigned action is triggered

Sorry, but we're not going to do this. Menu accelerators with alt have been around since about 1985, and people should by now be used to them. Also, we don't handle them ourselves, Qt does that for you, and if Qt doesn't follow Gnome's settings, then either Gnome propagates that setting wrong, or Qt does't follow it, or the Qt GTK platform plugin doesn't follow it -- but it has nothing to do with Krita.
