Greyed window

SUMMARY

It happened with kmail and kate. See the attachment.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  Since this happened not often, I can not tell how to reproduce. 
Here is what I've done when it happened:

1. An open in kate file was changed.
2. I clicked "reload file'
3. The window of kate become greyed.

OBSERVED RESULT

  Window is greyed

EXPECTED RESULT

  Window must not be greyed

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

When this effect is with kmail closing it to tray helped. Just minimizing does not

Though my video shows the bug 438552, I have reported something different. 

The window must not be greyed. I never tried to switch desktop when it happened.

Why a window becomes greyed?

It's the same bug. Or at least, they have the same root cause.
