SUMMARY
processing video task keeps on Waiting forever

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. load a video
2. cut some parts of the video (probably optional)
3. export/process (1080 HD video to mp4 or whatever)

OBSERVED RESULT
task stays on waiting after press Init task

EXPECTED RESULT
Video starting processing

This should not happen. With the change to MLT7 it could be some packaging issue. Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 21.08.0a to see if it's working https://kdenlive.org/en/download/

I'm using as an user the kdenlive from the snap store, so it is the current one.
I don't know if it is something related to the profile of hardware or the S.O.
But currently is still happening on my version

As previous said please try with the official packager from the download site to see if there are any packaging issues with the snap package. https://kdenlive.org/en/download/
