Description stefano.droghetti 2021-08-27 06:23:08 UTC
SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Download 21.08.0b appImage from the official site
2. Make it executable
3. Launch it
4. If it's not the first run, just click on "Settings" → Configure Wizard

OBSERVED RESULT
Startup wizard says package Frei0r (frei0r-plugins) is missing

EXPECTED RESULT
The application starts as always

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
appImage 21.08.0b on Ubuntu 20.04

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Anyway, it looks like frei0r plugins are present and usable. It's just a wrong warning, maybe?
Being an appimage, this happens with or without the installation of frei0r plugins in Ubuntu.

Thank you for reporting. I can confirm this issue. That should not happen. It seems a packaging miss.

Thanks for your report! I am closing this because 21.08.1 is out since a while and should fix this problem, please try again and reopen if it is not fixed.
