SUMMARY Sometimes the host does strange things to a virtual machine, and the upper left corner becomes inaccessible by mouse. Therefore, I have moved the Cascade Menu to the upper right corner. Sometimes clicking in the favourite icon becomes hard work as the mouse tends to pass over the menus first. If it is possible to move the favourites bar at the right of the menu (configurable, of course), this problem vanish. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS plasmashell 5.22.4
Created attachment 141031 [details] the ability to swap pannels by configuration
Kicker already flips its layout when used on a right-edge panel. (Somewhat badly, with the submenu buttons pointing in the wrong direction and runner columns not being flipped, but still). But that doesn't work on a top/bottom panel that's toward the right-hand side of the screen; I don't think we have infrastructure for that. We might make it a toggle-able option, I guess. Shouldn't be hard to add (and best paired with fixing the above issues), if we want that.
1712b9ac3260fadf0930972e6237bf38047b0724 implements improved layout flipping on opposite-edge panels. It should be flexible enough to make a configuration option simple to implement, if we want this, but I'm not fully convinced we do.
I also think configurability is overkill here.
