SUMMARY
The favourites in the redesigned kickoff menu of KDE Plasma 5.21 are not really usable, as the disappear while moving the cursor from the task bar to them.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open the kickoff menu by clicking on the KDE logo in the task bar
2. Move the cursor from the KMenu button in the task bar to the favourites in the new KMenu (over the categories in the start menu)

OBSERVED RESULT

The favourites disappear, as the content of the category is shown instead.

EXPECTED RESULT

The favourites should not disappear.

This was fixed in Plasma 5.22
