SUMMARY When I have 2 text clips with the "typewriter" effect close to each other (e.g. around 20-40 frames apart in the timeline), the 2nd text clip will flash several frames of green. This is using the "word by word" option, if that's relevant (I don't have a use for "character by character" in my workflow). The duration of the green flash might have something to do with how many frames I set in "Frames step". Also the green flash does not appear in the project while editing, only appears on the rendered video file. I was able to reproduce this while working on another project. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Make 2 different text clips 2. place one on one part of the video 3. place the other around 20 or so frames after in the timeline, add typewriter effect on each clip OBSERVED RESULT Clip one will have typewriter effect and will stop appearing on timeline at end of clip. Clip two will then appear and a full screen green flash that lasts for 20 frames or so will appear at the beginning of the clip. EXPECTED RESULT Clip one will have typewriter effect and will stop appearing on timeline at end of clip. Clip two will then appear and will stop appearing on timeline at end of clip. Both clips should have no weird flashing or artifacting in between them.
