Does it say any error message anywhere?
(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #1) > Does it say any error message anywhere? No error messages seen. One more updates for Jami have been added to the list with 0 B and not being processed. But this update comes up twice in the Discover list of updates: Jami Update to version 20210825.1.000a1f6~dfsg1-1 Reported this on Jami bug report they said it is working on two Ubunutu desktops they test.

Is this a flatpak app or a distro packaged-app?
(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #4) > Is this a flatpak app or a distro packaged-app? As far as I know it is distro. However today when I checked on installed apps in discover, I can see two Jami apps under different subtitles, but they seem to be the same. I had only installed one Jami, but today I see that both are showing as installed. In the descriptions, both apps show as 0 B. Please see new screenshots.

That means that these are probably not distro-provided apps after all. I suspect one is flatpak and the other is snap. What do `flatpak update` or `snap update` do?
(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #11) > That means that these are probably not distro-provided apps after all. `snap upgrade` maybe? I don't use snap, maybe you can figure out what the right command is.
(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #13) > `snap upgrade` maybe? I don't use snap, maybe you can figure out what the > right command is. I ran sanp list and Jami is not in the list of apps Trying to find how to update or upgrade, its not in the help information

(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #13) > `snap upgrade` maybe? I don't use snap, maybe you can figure out what the > right command is. After the apt dist-upgrade the 0 B updates are not showing in Discover updates. Discover still showing two Jami apps installed with 0 B. Going to restart computer to see if there will changes after restart.
(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #13) > `snap upgrade` maybe? I don't use snap, maybe you can figure out what the > right command is. After restart, result is the same, currently not showing the updates with 0 B any more. I am not technical, but I wonder if the Jami/snap update problem is in any way related to the following problem which has come up in my computer in discover updates at times: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=440593 after the snap update this problem did show today.
hmm, if `apt update` was able to see it, but `pkcon update` was not, that means that the bug is in the PackageKit library that Discover uses to talk to the distro's package manager (apt, in this case). So there is nothing Discover can do about it because the software library it's depending upon has failed it. You would need to report this to the PackageKit developers at https://github.com/PackageKit/PackageKit/issues
