Description apelsinchoklad 2021-08-22 08:23:02 UTC
SUMMARY
There was a backup resource folder in my krita resource folder left from when upgrading from 2.9 to 3. Made by me manually or by krita - I don't remember.
Those resources gets read by the new resource system which I'm not sure is desired?

In my case the backup resource folder contained a brush bundle 2015-04-17_deevadkrita_V6.bundle with patterns that cause krita to crash when selected on a brush with pattern feature turned on. (It's also noted on David Revoys website that the bundle wont work with newer versions https://www.davidrevoy.com/article248/krita-brushes-v6)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Place a resource folder inside the resource folder.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
macOS: 10.13.6 High Sierra

Yes, it's intentional that Krita finds all bundles recursively in the resources folder.

I see. Should I file a separate bug report about the crash?
Comment 3 Halla Rempt 2021-08-22 09:00:13 UTC
Yes, please.
