Why such playback shortcuts like Ctrl + Left/Right. It’s much better to make Z - prev, X - stop, C - pause, V - play, B - next or at least like in VLC: N – next, P – prev. Left/Right may be Rewind, Up/Down - volume. Space – stop/play is OK. Implement best Winamp features into Elisa, especially shortcuts and files/folder options. 20 year old Winamp 5 Lite still rocks good with Wine and it’s simply best in terms of functionality.
I suggest following shortcuts for all players: Z - prev track X - rewind C - in Elisa reserved for Stop and move to start of current track function V - forward B - next track Space - Stop/Pause Try it yourself and feel the control =) Volume can be managed by Left and Right keys or by + and - F12 or Ctrl + Shift + K - Configure keyboard chortcuts in Elisa - depending on default shortcut for this function in KDE applications Do not use Ctrl + Shift + Alt + Meta + Key shortcuts for playback controls, because it is torture and makes no sense. Such keybindings may be needed for specific functions.
