SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Install KDE Neon 2. Once installed upgrade all packages 3. Start Konsole 4. Try to turn off toolbars - not possible OBSERVED RESULT There is no menu option under 'settings' which will allow turning off the toolbars. EXPECTED RESULT There should be a menu option under 'settings' which would allow turning off the toolbars. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS KDE Neon 5.22 KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.85.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I installed KDE Neon from this .iso image: neon-user-20210729-0944.iso Upon installation the version of Konsole is: 4:21.04.3-0xneon+20.04+focal+release+build20 That version of Konsole does not suffer from the bug being reported here. However, after upgrading Konsole to the latest version (4:21.08.0-0xneon+20.04+focal+release+build21), the bug manifests itself. This looks like a regression and might be a duplicate of https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=430036, but I was not sure if re-opening old bug would be appropriate. I observed described behavior upon fresh-installing KDE Neon on my workstation laptop and then verified it with fresh install in KVM virtual machine. Regards, Mario
As mentioned in bug 430036, the fix has been cherry-pick'ed to release/21.08 branch. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 430036 ***
