SUMMARY
Transforming any selection using the transform tool, no matter how small, is very, very slow compared to 4.4.x.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a layer and draw on it
2. Select a portion of the drawing from that layer
3. With transform tool, move, rotate, scale as you see fit; feedback will be very laggy to update

OBSERVED RESULT

Feedback is laggy from a couple of seconds to somewhat longer, no matter how small the selected raster object.

EXPECTED RESULT

Quick feedback, like in 4.4.x

If you want Krita 4 behaviour back, you can go to settings->configure Krita->performance->Instant Preview and uncheck Use In-Stack Preview of transform tool.
