STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Activate pen tip end and select "c) Pencil-1 Hard"; if the preset is marked dirty, reload it from the brush editor
2. Activate eraser tip end and select "a) Eraser Circle"; if the preset is marked dirty, reload it from the brush editor
3. Switch between pen tip and eraser tip
4. One of the preset may be marked as dirty

I can confirm this for the Aug 16 5.0.0-prealpha (git 79ad739) appimage on Debian 10.

The preset that is used with the pen tip is marked as dirty.
I used Basic-6 Details with the pen tip and Pencil-1 Hard with the 'eraser' tip.
