I would like to fix that, but I would need more info where inside this function 0x00007ff7c199b8a5 in KateViewInternal::inputMethodEvent(QInputMethodEvent*) () from /lib64/libKF5TextEditor.so.5 it crashes. Could you rerun it with a debug build?
