Please attach Help -> Show Krita log for bug reports. I hope there will be a crash log there. Also are you using 4.4.7, the newest release?
Created attachment 140670 [details] attachment-18294-0.html I don't find the crash log, and I have the last, the newest release but I also experienced this problem before the update. Thanks for your comment! Automatically switching the status of this bug to REPORTED so that the KDE team knows that the bug is ready to get confirmed. In the future you may also do this yourself when providing needed information.

The bug janitor is a bot, you don't have to thank it. Please do what Tiar asked for and open krita, go to Help menu, select System Information for Bug Reports and attach the contents to this bug report (to do that, open the link to the bug report, don't just reply by mail). Then go to the Help menu again and select Krita Log for Bug Reports and attach the contents to this bug report. You can also try to reset Krita's settings, which might solve the problem for you. See the FAQ: https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html#resetting-krita-configuration
