SUMMARY the animation mode of Krita is having several bug errors. It will restart the audio at any frame i pick, or it will glitch out and repeat the audio while progressing through the frames. Rendering the audio feature absolutely useless. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. add audio 2. choose a frame (typically the first frame) 3. press play OBSERVED RESULT either one of the two: 1. the audio plays from the beginning regardless of the frame that is chosen, making timing extremely difficult. 2. the audio lags and repeats at certain areas, making timing impossible. EXPECTED RESULT 1. audio plays from the beginning at frame 1, and resumes playback of said audio on any chosen frame 2. smooth, unbroken audio playback SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: Windows 10 Version 21H1 for x64-based Systems macOS: x Linux/KDE Plasma: x (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: x KDE Frameworks Version: x Qt Version: x ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I am aware there are duplicates of this bug, but I thought the team would appreciate more detail. best of luck to the team on fixing this bug!
I also use MP3 as my audio file. i will update on using different types of files, though ive read past reports that it doesn't help.
UPDATE: Importing it as a .wav file does improve it drastically. though the audio quality is still crackles and isn't the best. But it is (hopefully) a temporary fix!
