I am trying to uninstall the wine application, and I am told that I do not have permission to perform this action. So how do I run Discover as root? SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.83.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2
You don't; it should prompt you for permission as needed. The fact that it's not doing this is a bug. 1. How did you install WINE? 2. Can you share a screenshot that shows the exact error message? 3. have you deliberately changed any polkit, kauth, pr PAM settings/configuration files/packages?
