Description Fighting Bat 2021-07-31 16:20:26 UTC
SUMMARY
Some custom icons are not shown in the dolphin icon view after updating it.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Dolphin and select a folder with many sub folders (at least 10 or 20)
2. Select icon view mode
3. Set some custom icons at random. You will see the chosen icon appear correctly now.
4. Change folder and come back to previous folder with the custom icons.
5. Press F5 or update the view.

OBSERVED RESULT
You may notice that some custom icons have returned to normal (default icon). I don't understand the criterion. It seems that some remain set and others do not, but at random.

EXPECTED RESULT
All custom icons should be shown even after updating the view.

I tried to replicate this bug on an older HP laptop with Kubuntu 21.10 and the bug was present.

I connected the external SSD with badly customized folders from Manjaro KDE, Kubuntu read them incorrectly exactly like Manjaro KDE. I tried to repersonalize one of the badly displayed folders, but the bug was not corrected.

It is certainly a KDE bug.
