Comment 2 David Redondo 2021-07-26 09:17:13 UTC
Can you pinpoint a specific thing to trigger thi or is it just random?
Comment 3 Nate Graham 2021-07-29 16:33:00 UTC
This is an NVIDIA driver bug. Please report this issue to the NVIDIA folks, either by sending an email to linux-bugs@nvidia.com or making a post at https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/c/gpu-unix-graphics/linux/

It would be helpful to the NVIDIA developers if you could run nvidia-bug-report.sh and attach the resulting file in your report. Thanks!

Oops, that was meant for another bug report.
Comment 5 Nate Graham 2021-07-29 16:38:48 UTC
Cannot reproduce, though. It may be an NVIDIA driver bug anyway, just another one. :)

Can you answer David Redondo's question?
Comment 6 kingofgamesyami 2021-07-30 01:11:34 UTC
I have not been able to pinpoint the exact cause of the issue. It happens approximately 90% of the time I complete the actions shown in the recording -- hovering over one item, then moving to another item after the tooltip shows.

If you do conclude this is an NVIDIA driver bug, please let me know so I can forward the relevant information to them.
