SUMMARY Cannot remove LUKS password. Dosn't matter whether "remember password" is checked or not, it still saves it. Doesn't matter if no password or wrong password is put in, still comes back with the correct password allowing LUKS partition to be unlocked only by clicking OK. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Dolphin. 2. Enter password and unlock. Do not check box. 3. Lock LUKS partition or unmount. 4. Select LUKS partition again. OBSERVED RESULT Password is still there and partition unlocks by clicking OK. EXPECTED RESULT No password already entered. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: 5.18.5 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.68.0 Qt Version: 5.12.8 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Once it's been saved, you need to remove it. You can do that using the "kwalletmanager" app.
