Hm... I don't get a crash. I am working a problem with nested brush tips, but I don't see this at the moment.

It's supposed to be fixed now (though not sure in which commit), can you please check?
The recent nightly appimages and the recent nightly Windows portables do not give me a crash for this. However, I now can't induce a crash with the July 23 5.0.0-prealpha (git 73473a8d27) as I did in Comment 3. I don't know why that is.
