SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Flash Manjaro dev pinephone image, I used yesterdays: 202107220245 from https://github.com/manjaro-pinephone/plasma-mobile-dev/releases
2. Update following the discover notification.
3. Reboot.

OBSERVED RESULT
Discover (offline updates) complains:
"Failed to update 1 package, failed to update database: unexpected system error." Clicking repair doesn't resolve the issue.

EXPECTED RESULT
Offline updates completes without error, or repair option resolves the error.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: 
KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.80
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.85.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2

Indeed, this sad problem needs to be fixed at the distro level by repairing pacman support and pushing out an update.
