Description Sam Azer 2021-07-22 04:13:19 UTC
Application: akonadiserver (5.14.2 (20.04.2))

Qt Version: 5.15.2
Frameworks Version: 5.84.0
Operating System: Linux 5.3.18-57-default x86_64
Windowing System: X11
Drkonqi Version: 5.22.3
Distribution: openSUSE Leap 15.3

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:

At some point this evening I did a Zypper Update and found 158 packages (almost all of them from the KDE Extra, Framework5 and QT5 repos for LEAP 15.3) I installed them and rebooted the system.

When I ran Kontact I did not see any of the various Calendar and Task folders that I have created in my instance of Kolab16. This is not unusual - sadly I'm having lots of trouble with Kontact (RoundCube on the Kolab16 server is working perfectly, though.)

When I realized that there was something wrong with the communications with the server I closed Kontact.

That's when Dr. Konqi said that the Akonadi Server had crashed.

- Unusual behavior I noticed:

Akonadi Server crashed and the bug reporter appeared.

After that I tried akonadictl stop and akonadictl status. I found that the server was stopped but akonadi control was running. I had to use the stop option a few times before it stopped. When I finally ran "akonadictl start" it started okay and, after starting Kontact, the calendar and task folders appeared (though they were UnSubscribed again - that happens often.)

Note that I'm having lots of problems with Kontact but Akonadi has *not* been outright crashing - I don't remember this happening before.

Thanks again for all the wonderful work you guys are doing.

The reporter is unsure if this crash is reproducible.
