SUMMARY
Mails with an attachment are not stored & lost after sending.  Sent mail without attachments are stored for later review. 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Send a mail with an attachment; the mail is not stored after sending
2. Send a mail without an attachment; the mail is stored after sending


OBSERVED RESULT
Lost mail copy after sending

EXPECTED RESULT
Stored a copy of mail for later review

kmail2 5.17.3 (21.04.3)

Reason was a malformed filter that moved some of the sent mails to a special folder.  After correction of the filter criteria sent mails are stored now as expected.  Sorry for the noise.
