SUMMARY For some reason, Krita loves to randomly get stuck on panning even when the spacebar key is not pressed. Happens only from detection of a pen with a drawing tablet. If you put the pen out of range, the key isn't pressed. But if you bring it range, it pans on its own. STEPS TO REPRODUCE Unsure. But it happens when : *you go out of focus by switching from Krita to another app's Windows. *After right click events ? Try the following : Case 1 : 1. Open/create a document 2. show the brush list floating window 3. hover over a brush and right-click to cast a context menu. 4. hover over the canvas to see if the panning bug doesn't start Case 2 : 1. Go out of focus of Krita by switching to another opened app 2. Switch back to Krita from this app and hover over the canvas OBSERVED RESULT Everytime your tablet pen is detected, it instantly gets stuck on panning. Pressing spacebar doesn't cancel the issue. EXPECTED RESULT No unexpected and random key input bug which executes an unwanted command on its own, no panning at the detection of your pen if the proper key isn't pressed and held. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 10 1909
What actions do you have assigned to your pen nib/buttons? Which tablet is it? Couldn't reproduce yet on 5.0.0beta5.

(In reply to Will Stephenson from comment #1) > What actions do you have assigned to your pen nib/buttons? Which tablet is > it? > > Couldn't reproduce yet on 5.0.0beta5. Greetings. I have assigned "right-click" and "switch brush" actions to my pen buttons. I use a Huion HS610.
I've seen a number of reports like this, with people reporting the following "fixes" * reset the Huion settings * update or downgrade the Huion driver * replace the nib (really!) I'm not sure how to proceed with this report: the issue is not reproducible with other brands of tablets, like my old Wacom Intuos 3.
