Created attachment 139937 [details] wrong-display-resoltion-in-layout SUMMARY I have a dual monitor setup where i have a 4k laptop screen next to a full HD monitor. The monitors resolution is @ 1920x1080 60Hz and the laptop screen is @ 1440x810 60Hz (accordingly to xrandr). The layout (the nice grapical representation of the screens wich allows to position them via drag and drop) shows for the laptop screen a resolution of 576x324. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Plugin a second full HD monitor next to the 4k monitor 2. Set the resolution of the 4k monitor to 1440x810 OBSERVED RESULT In the screen layout for the 4k monitor the resolution of 576x324 is show where as xrandr show a resolution of 1440x810. Because of this (i guess) positioning the laptop screen correctly is not possible. EXPECTED RESULT The layout should show the correct resolution and therefore the positioning to align the monitors on the bottom line should be possible. Are you able to try the Wayland session and see if this works better? Mixed DPI isn't well-supported on X11.
