1. In an unsaved document, try to find & replace some text

This has been going on for several months at least. I hit the bug most of the time, but sometimes it works fine. The reliable cure seems to be to save the document.

I cannot reproduce the search problem, but I know there is an issue with highlights and replace, if you have two unsaved documents.... In that situation the Search plugin has a hard time knowing which file is which.

Then if you have selected search place to be in project-files or folder, this unsaved file does not belong to any of them...

Aah, that might indeed be the reliable repro case. I tried it just now and it found and replaced in the unsaved doc that was not in focus. Target was "current file".

I could not find an existing report.
