(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: khtml Version: 4.0 (using KDE 3.0.1 ) Severity: wishlist Installed from: SuSE Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-4GB OS/Compiler notes: I often use the mouse wheel to scroll through large pages. However in Konqueror this seems to be quite a dangerous thing to do because if the cursor happens to hit a selection box the mouse wheel will scroll through the selections for a while then continue scrolling through a page. Result: if the user is not careful he could inadvertantly change a couple of selections while scrolling through a large page (such as slashdot comments when you have mod points). It's rather disturbing to discover after clicking submit that you actually "moderated" many more posts than you intended because of this behavior... Would it be possible to make this behavior optional? If the user so prefers the mousewheel will _only_ be used for scrolling never for changing any selections.
