SUMMARY no way to remove text highlighting other than undo STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open a pdf in Okular 2. Choose the text highlighting 3. Select some text to highlight 4. There is no way to unselect the highlight, but undo (CTRL+Z) This is cumbersome if you did quite some highlighting. If you right click on the annotation you should see a popup to remove it. You can also browse the annotation from the annotation tab in the sidebar. Do neither of them work for you?
